Born and brought up in Jashore, Bangladesh, Dr. Md. Munibur Rahman earned both his B.A. (Honours) and M.A. in English from the University of Dhaka and later completed his Ph.D. at Islamic University, Bangladesh. He began his teaching career in the BCS General Education Cadre in 2005. In 2016, he joined Jashore University of Science and Technology (JUST) as an Assistant Professor.

His academic interests encompass postcolonial literature, literature and history, Bengali literature, religion and literature, English Language Teaching (ELT), language acquisition, language skills development, and translation studies.

Dr. Rahman has published a good number of research articles in internationally reputed academic journals. He is also the translator of My Teenage My Liberation War, a memoir-based work on the glorious Liberation War of Bangladesh.

In addition to his academic pursuits, he regularly contributes articles and opinion pieces to leading national newspapers, including Prothom Alo, Shangbad, and Bonik Barta. Some of his notable publications are as follows:
