Born and brought up in Jashore, Md. Munibur Rahman graduated (BA Hons and MA) in English from the University of Dhaka, and had his PhD from Islamic University, Bangladesh. He started his teaching career in BCS General Education Cadre in 2005. Later, he switched his job from Education cadre to Jashore University of Science and Technology as Assistant Professor in 2016.

His area of interest includes postcolonial literature, history and literature, Bengali literature, religion and literature, ELT, language acquisition, language skills development, translation, etc.

He translated My Teenage, My Liberation, a book on the glorious Liberation War of Bangladesh. Now and then, he writes articles for national dailies like the Prothom Alo, the Shangbad, etc. Some of them are:
