Isolation and charecterization of fluroquinolone resistant Salmonella spp. from poultry chicken.

Nominated for funding by R&D project under Ministry of Science and Technology in the fiscal year 2018-19.

The main aim of this study is

1. To characterize fluoroquinolone resistant Salmonella spp. from poultry feces by cultural, biochemical & molecular method.
2. To estimate the prevalence of different fluoroquinolone resistant Salmonella serotypes in poultry droppings in Jashore area.
3. To determine the responsible fluoroquinolone antibiotic resistant genes from different Salmonella serotypes using multiplex PCR assay
