Jashore University of Science and Technology (JUST) in Bangladesh, established in 2007, is a prominent institution known for its commitment to excellence in tertiary education, research, and innovation. JUST offers a diverse undergraduate and postgraduate programs across various disciplines, including engineering, science, technology, business and others. The university is dedicated to fostering a vibrant academic environment, promoting cutting-edge research, and contributing to the socio-economic development of the region. With its state-of-the-art facilities, highly qualified faculty, and strategic initiatives, JUST continues to play a crucial role in shaping the future leaders and innovators of Bangladesh.

To institutionalize a culture of quality within the university, ensure sustainable academic excellence, and elevate the university’s ranking,  the Institutional Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of JUST started its journey in 2016. Fostering such a quality culture within the university is a significant undertaking, which is rooted in continuous improvement and academic integrity, and is essential for the holistic development of the university’s academic environment and its stakeholders. The IQAC-JUST is tasked with internal quality assurance. This office assists the administration in crafting the university's vision and mission through stakeholder consultations. IQAC-JUST regularly conducts capacity-building activities and training programs for faculty and administrative staff to improve both academic and workplace culture.

The university participates in global rankings via IQAC-JUST by providing comprehensive and accurate institutional data to ranking organizations, including details on academic programs, faculty qualifications, research output, facility descriptions, student satisfaction, and other key performance indicators. Jashore University of Science and Technology (JUST) is ranked 801-1000^th in the World University Rankings 2025 by Times Higher Education and #179 in the Asian University Rankings - Southern Asia 2025. This reflects the university's growing reputation and its commitment to providing quality education and research.

IQAC-JUST aims to equip JUST graduates with competencies in complex problem-solving, critical thinking, innovation, emotional intelligence, and decision-making, with an emphasis on sustainability. To achieve this, the IQAC-JUST prioritizes the completion and accreditation of OBE curriculum for university’s undergraduate programs, and contributing to higher ranking as well as global recognition.
