The Student Counseling Center is the university’s primary facility for personal counseling, group counseling, political counseling, graduate assistants, social works, health outreach and consultation services. Our mission is to promote the psychological, educational, and social well-being of the students of the University and to help prepare them to be productive members of society. All of our staff are generalists and see students presenting with a variety of issues. Every day, the Director (Student Counseling and Guidance), JUST is involved in activities and services that strengthen our campus to be supportive, engaged and, ultimately, connected around student health wellness and carriers where each student can engage thoughtfully as an active community member and to help their fellow students.
Director (Student Counseling and Guidance) is responsible for planning and implementing social, cultural, coordinating new student orientation, counseling student organizations, advising student groups on their financial status and recreational activities of student groups.
