The Faculty of Business Studies performs several academic-administrative functions including;

1. Appraisal and approval of departmental proposals and decisions including the determination of curriculum, syllabus, and subjects of study.
2. Coordinating among the departments of the faculty to ensure an excellent teaching and research environment.
3. Arranging collaboration with the industry to facilitate professional skills development and employment opportunities for the students.
4. Recommending names of examiners to the Academic Council for examination of the subjects under the faculty
5. Recommending to the Academic Council the conditions for the award of degrees, diplomas, certificates, and other awards.
6. Recommending to the Academic Council for the creation of teaching and research positions in the departments of the faculty.
7. Organizing different skill development and knowledge-sharing programs for the students.
