Dr. S. M. Nur Alam is a Professor in the Department of Chemical Engineering at Jashore University of Science and Technology (JUST). He earned his B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Applied Chemistry and Chemical Engineering from Islamic University (IU), where he achieved 1st Class 1st in both degrees. Dr. Alam completed his PhD at Kumamoto University in Japan, supported by the MEXT scholarship. His research focuses on catalysts (preparation, synthesis, and applications), adsorption, solid materials characterization, and spectroscopic techniques.
