Md. Mehedi Hasan received a B.Sc. Engineering degree in Petroleum and Mining Engineering from the Shahjalal University of Science & Technology (SUST) in 2012 and a M. Engineering degree in Petroleum from the Bangladesh University of Engineering & Technology (BUET) in 2017. He was a Technical Sales Officer at BASF Bangladesh Ltd., a leading chemical company in the world (2 years, 4 months). He also worked with a research organization as a Research Associate (10 months) and as a Research Assistant of Dr. Mohammad Farhad Howladar (1 year and 10 months), Associate Professor Dept. of Petroleum and Mining Engineering, Shahjalal University of Science & Technology (SUST), Sylhet, Bangladesh. In September 2017, he joined the department of Petroleum and Mining Engineering at Jashore University of Science and Technology, Bangladesh, as a lecturer and was promoted to Assistant Professor in February 2020. He is doing his PhD at the China University of Petroleum (East China).
