Professor Dr. Md. Sherazul Islam was the founder chairman of the Department of Fisheries and Marine Bioscience, Jashore University of Science & Technology, Bangladesh where he joint as an assistant professor in 2009. Now he is serving as Professor and Chairman of the same department. He served as pioneer provost of the Shaheed Mashiur Rahman Hall (Male students’ Hall) and Principal of the JUST school & Collage. At present he is working as the director of Transport Administration Jashore University of Science & Technology. He already conducted eleven research projects that financed by the University Grant Commission, Ministry of Science & Technology, Ministry of Education, Bangladesh and Bangladesh Academy of Sciences. He has more than 30 international publications and already published two books.
