S M Shamiul Alam is working as an Assistant Professor since 2018. He completed his MS degree in the Department of Farm Power and Machinery in 2015 and B. Sc. in Agricultural Engineering in 2013 from Bangladesh Agricultural University, Mymensingh-2202. His research interest is on food and agro product processing and preservation. He currently doing his research study on Traditional practice of palm husbandry (collection & processing of sap and production & preservation of molasses) in the southwestern region of rural Bangladesh: present status and economic potentials.
