Short Biography:

Throughout his career, Prof. Dr. Zaved has demonstrated a commitment to transnational mobility by working on his PhD, Postdoc and other research projects in Japan, China, Thailand and South Korea. He did his PhD from famous Japanese university Waseda University in 2011 and then joined at the Department of Chemical Engineering at Jashore University of Science and Technology in 2012. At present he is working as Professor and also the Chairman of his Department. He did his research work in different countries including Japan, Korea, China etc. Prof. Zaved has established first Nanotechnology Laboratory in Bangladesh at his own Department. Till now he has published more than 150 research articles in world class Journals. Dr. Zaved is the first university teacher in Bangladesh who has filed 6 patents in Bangladesh patent office. For the first time in Bangladesh, he has invented Nano Fertilizer which will be available in market very soon. His name has been enlisted in the list of world’s top 2% scientist list for last five consecutive years 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023 and 2024. For his research achievement, Dr. Zaved has been selected for University Grants Commission (UGC) gold medal 2018 and 2019. He has been also selected for Bangladesh Academy of Science gold medal 2021. . His h-index=39 with a total citation of 5600.
