Tarikul Islam received his B.Sc. in Textile Engineering from Mawlana Bhashani Science and Technology Univesity (MBSTU), Bangladesh, and M.Sc. in Textile Engineering at Bangladesh University of Textiles (BUTEX), Bangladesh. He worked as Lecturer at BGMEA University of Fashion and Technology (BUFT), Bangladesh. He is now working as a Lecturer at the Jashore University of Science and Technology, Jashore, Bangladesh. His research interest is directed at Natural dyes, Protective and smart textiles, Fibres and polymers, Sustainability, etc.
