Dr. Sujan Chowdhury received a B.Sc. degree in chemical engineering and Polymer Science from Shahjalal University of Science and Technology (SUST), Sylhet, Bangladesh. He started the research career as a Masters student focusing on electrochemical assessment of “Direct Methanol Fuel Cell” (DMFC) in 2005 at Yuan Ze University (YZU), Taiwan and graduated in 2007. Shortly after that, I become adjunct lecturer in the chemical engineering department at YZU, Taiwan.  After 2007, my PhD research focused on the development of hierarchical structural nanomaterials, and catalysts. During my postgraduate study (Ph.D. level), I was awarded “Best Student” by the YZU, Taiwan. Upon completion of my Ph.D. in 2011, I joined the research team of Prof. Wen Jie Shen at Dalian Institute of Chemical Physics, Dalian, China. My post-doctoral research encompassed characterization of morphology dependent ceria nanomaterials using advanced catalytical approaches.

In 2012, I joined the chemical engineering department at Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS, Malaysia. In 2016, I moved to the Chemical Engineering Department, University Tunku Abdul Rahman, Malaysia as an Assistant Professor to further advance my academic and research career. At the end of 2018, I appointed to a position of Assistant Professor in the department of chemical engineering, Jashore University of Science and Technology, Bangladesh and working till today.
