Mohammed Sadid Hossian is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Environmental Science and Technology, Jashore University of Science and Technology. He was a former lecturer in the Department of Environmental Science at Sheikh Borhanuddin Post Graduate College. He was engaged with research as a Research Assistant under a government project funded by Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change. The Title of the project is 'Assessment of Impacts of Climate Change on Soil Health and Food Security, and Adaptation of Climate-smart Agriculture in Most Adversely Affected Areas Of Bangladesh'. His research fields are coastal saline soil, climate change, agriculture, rice production, reclamation of soil using organic amendments etc. He had obtained MS and BS degree from the Department of Soil, Water and Environment, University of Dhaka. He was awarded with National Science and Technology fellowship by the Ministry of Science and Technology, Government of the Peoples' Republic of Bangladesh. He was also awarded with Merit Scholarship by Directorate of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education, Government of the Peoples' Republic of Bangladesh.
