Dr. Nazneen Nahar is an Associate Professor of the Department of Environmental Science and Technology at Jashore University of Science and Technology, Bangladesh. She received her Ph.D. in Soil, Water, and Environment from the University of Dhaka. She completed her MS degree in Soil, Water, and Environment (Major in Environmental Science) and BSc in Soil, Water, and Environment Department from the University of Dhaka, Bangladesh.

Her research areas include Hydrogeochemistry and Health risks, Environmental Pollution and Degradation, Metal toxicity and remediation, and Ecotoxicology.
