Nazmul Hossain is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Jashore University of Science and Technology (JUST), Bangladesh. He has been serving the department since 2016, contributing actively to teaching, research, and academic leadership. He completed both his Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees in Computer Science and Engineering at JUST, earning excellent academic results, including a high distinction in his master’s program.
He has extensive experience in undergraduate and postgraduate teaching, curriculum development, and supervision of Bachelor’s and Master’s research projects. His research interests include cloud computing, cybersecurity, Internet of Things security, network and data security, software systems, and applied machine learning. He has published a substantial number of peer-reviewed research articles in reputable international journals and conference proceedings, reflecting both depth and diversity in his research portfolio.
In addition to his academic career, he possesses professional industry experience as a web developer and head of a web development team, which strengthens his applied perspective in software engineering and web technologies. He is actively engaged in academic service and institutional development, having held leadership and committee roles related to student activities, academic quality assurance, website development, and national-level academic events.
He is also involved in mentoring competitive programming teams and organizing research and innovation activities. He currently serves as an organizing secretary of a national conference, demonstrating his commitment to scholarly collaboration and knowledge dissemination. Through research-driven teaching, interdisciplinary collaboration, and community engagement, he aims to advance secure, intelligent, and sustainable computing solutions while nurturing future professionals and researchers in computer science and engineering. His long-term vision emphasizes ethical technology development, international collaboration, capacity building, and the translation of academic research into practical solutions that contribute to national development, digital transformation, and global scientific advancement sustainability.
