Short Biography of Dr. Hossain
Dr. Hossain is a Biomedical Engineer, BioNanoMedicine and Cancer Nanotechnology interdisciplinary research scientist and educator.
He is current working as Faculty and Associate Professor, in the Department of Biomedical Engineering, Jashore University of Science and Technology (JUST). Before joining JUST, he was Faculty as Assistant Professor of Pharmaceutical Sciences, and Bio-manufacturing Research Institute and Technology Enterprise (BRITE), North Carolina Central University, USA. He was also Faculty as Assistant Professor, Research at Graduate Institute of Technology and Biology Department of University of Arkansas at Little Rock, USA. He received doctorate degree in Applied Science / Applied Biosciences area of Biomedical Engineering / Cancer Bio-Nanotechnology from University of Arkansas at Little Rock, USA, 2011 with highest distinction (GPA 4.00 out of 4.00). Dr. Hossain also earned three Master’s degree from USA: M.S. in Applied Biosciences, and M.S. in Integrated Sciences and Mathematics, (Major in Biology and Chemistry), UALR with also highest distinction (GPA 4.00 out of 4.00) and an M. Engr. in Biological and Agricultural Engineering from University of Idaho, USA. He has completed his B.Sc. in Professional Biotechnology from Biotechnology and Genetic Engineering Discipline of Khulna University. His research interests are focused on Biomedical Engineering, Bioinformatics, BioNanoMedicine, Cancer BioNanotechnology; Bio-Pharmaceutical, Medical Diagnostics, and Biosensors. His laboratory employs a multi-disciplinary approach. He has served on a number of journal’s Editorial Boards members, reviewers and editors. Dr. Hossain is the recipient of Global Golden Key Engineering and Technology Achievement Award.
Research Interest:
Dr. Hossain laboratory employs multi-disciplinary approaches which include: Biomedical Engineering, Bioinformatics, Nanomedicine, Cancer Nanotechnology; Bio-Pharmaceutical, Medical Diagnostics, and Biosensors.
