    Biography

    Mr. Md. Roknuzzaman has been working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Physics at Jashore University of Science and Technology (JUST), Bangladesh since April 2016. Before being promoted to Assistant Professor, he was working as a Lecturer in the same department from April 2014 to April 2016.

    Mr. Md. Roknuzzaman completed a Bachelor degree in Physics from University of Rajshahi, Bangladesh. He also completed a master’s degree in Solid State Physics from the same University. During his M.Sc. thesis, he was working on Condensed Matter Physics and Superconductivity. After achieving a Commonwealth funded scholarship, Md. Roknuzzaman has moved to Australia on mid-2016 to pursue a PhD degree at Queensland University of Technology (QUT). His present field of research is Computational Materials Science. He is currently working towards the development of lead-free perovskite materials for energy applications. His special interest lies on the development of non-toxic sustainable materials for photovoltaic and optoelectronic applications. Mr. Roknuzzaman has published more than 20 research articles in different high impact international journals and consequently his publications already received more than 500 citations (Google Scholar).
