Mohammad Jashim Uddin is an accomplished academic and researcher currently serving as an Associate Professor in the Department of Pharmacy at Jashore University of Science and Technology (JUST). His distinguished career in pharmaceutical sciences began with a first-class degree and first position in his M.S. in Pharmaceutical Science from Jahangirnagar University in 2002.
With over 17 years of extensive professional experience, Mr. Uddin previously held significant roles at Beximco Pharmaceuticals Ltd., a prominent pharmaceutical company in Bangladesh. From 2005 to 2012, he served as a Senior Officer and Assistant Manager in the Research and Development Department, where he specialized in analytical method development and the formulation of various novel dosage forms, including inhalation aerosols, solid and liquid orals, ophthalmics, and parenterals.
At JUST, Uddin is dedicated to educating the next generation of pharmacists, teaching core courses such as Pharmaceutics, Pharmaceutical Technology, and Advanced Formulation Development. He has a strong commitment to mentorship, having supervised more than 34 B.Pharm project students and 14 M.Pharm thesis students, guiding them through their research endeavors.
His diverse research interests encompass solubility enhancement techniques, nanoformulations, phytopharmaceuticals, and pharmacological evaluations. Uddin has made substantial contributions to the scientific community, evidenced by over 25 research articles published in reputable international journals.
Committed to continuous professional development, he has participated in numerous training programs and workshops focused on teaching methodologies, productivity, and pharmaceutical product development. Uddin is a registered pharmacist and an active member of the Pharmacy Graduates' Association of Bangladesh, fostering collaboration and knowledge exchange within the pharmaceutical community.
Driven by a passion for imparting knowledge and advancing pharmaceutical research, Uddin aims to nurture future pharmacists and contribute to the development of innovative drug delivery systems and therapeutic interventions that enhance human health and well-being.
