Dr. Md. Mashiar Rahman has been working as an Associate Professor since 9 May 2021 in the Department of Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology of Jashore University of Science and Technology (JUST), Jashore-7408, Bangladesh. Before that, he worked as an Assistant Professor from 28 October 2013 to 8 May 2021 in the same Department of JUST and as a Post-Doctoral Researcher at the Laboratory of Microbiology and Genetics, Department of Medicine, Jeonbuk National University, Jeonju, 561-712, South Korea from September 2012 to August 2013. He obtained a Ph.D. degree in August 2012 in Medical Science from the Department of Medicine, Jeonbuk National University, South Korea. Before enrolment in the Ph.D. program, he worked as a research assistant from 20 June 2008 to 28 February 2009, where he was awarded the Ph.D. degree and also worked as a Post-Doctoral Researcher. His main research interests are in Neuroscience, Aging, Natural products, Bioinformatics & Drug design, Proteomics, Stem cells. He has already published many articles in international journals.
