    Biography

    Mahfujul Alam initiated the journey of the cherished dream as a ‘Assistant Professor’ in the Department of "Agro Product Processing Technology" (APPT), Jashore University of Science and Technology (JUST)-7408 since August 2021. He was serving as a ‘Scientific Officer’ in Postharvest Technology Division of Bangladesh Agricultural Research Institute (BARI), Gazipur-1701, Bangladesh from January 2019 to July 2021. He completed Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in ‘Food Science and Technology’ from Chittagong Veterinary and Animal Sciences University (CVASU), Chittagong-4225 in 2016 and Masters of Science (M.S.) in ‘Food Engineering’ from Bangladesh Agricultural University (BAU), Mymensingh-2202 in 2018. He is experienced in the field of post-harvest management, processing and preservation of agricultural produces. Along with these activities, he was involved in the design and development of agro-based processing machinery (BARI Fruits and vegetables low cost small scale waxing machine, BARI Vacuum frying machine and De-oiling machine). Because of being young qualified, energetic and active, his goal is to build up his career in teaching and research on food processing, preservation and product development.
