Md. Tarequzzaman is acting as a lecturer in the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE), Jashore University of Science and Technology (JUST), Jashore-7408. Previously, he served as a faculty member in the Department of EEE, North Western University, Khulna. His vision is to become an excellent, dynamic teacher, someone who has an impact upon the life of the students.

He completed M.Sc. degree in Nuclear Power Engineering and Thermal Physics with distinction from National Research Nuclear University MEPhI, Russia. Before that he completed B.Sc. degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE) from Jashore University of Science and Technology (JUST). He received " Prime Minister Gold Medal Award '' in 2018 for his outstanding result in B.Sc.

His research fields of interest are Power Electronics, Motor Drives, Machine Learning, Spent Nuclear Fuel Management.
