Dr. Hasan has awarded Ph.D. in Plant Nutrition from China Agricultural University in 2015 with the dissertation of "Cloning and functional characterization of monosaccharide and amino acid transporters in maize".

He has worked as The E. Norman Borlaug Fellow, University of Missouri, USA (February 2020- May 2020).

Currently, he is working as Assistant Professor, Department of Nutrition and Food Technology, Jashore University of Science and Technology, Jashore-7408, Bangladesh. His career objective is to be a world-class scientist/academician in the field of Food Nutritional Engineering and Biotechnology, Food Processing, Food Microbiology, Food Biology, Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology.
