    Biography

    Dr. Md. Mahfuzur Rahman is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Industrial and Production Engineering at Jashore University of Science and Technology (JUST) in Bangladesh. He graduated with honors in Industrial and Production Engineering from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) in 2008. He earned his M.Sc. in Materials Science and Engineering in 2013 from the Masdar Institute of Science and Technology, now known as Khalifa University, in the United Arab Emirates. He also holds a PhD in Interdisciplinary Engineering, which he completed in 2017 at Khalifa University. Prior to his current position, Dr. Rahman worked as an Assistant Professor at both the National Institute of Technology and Research (NITER) and the Military Institute of Science and Technology (MIST) in Bangladesh. His current research focuses on the synthesis and characterization of carbon/Mxene-based composite materials for applications in electromagnetic shielding, supercapacitors, and photocatalysis. In addition to his research, Dr. Rahman has taught various courses, including Advanced Nanomanufacturing, Computer-Integrated Manufacturing and Robotics, Operations Research, Machine Tools, Operations Management, and Engineering Materials. He has also supervised BSc and MSc thesis students.
