Dr. Amran is a specialist physiotherapist, academic, and researcher at a public university in Bangladesh. He graduated in Physiotherapy in 2013, post-graduation in 2019, and obtained a certificate in Musculoskeletal ultrasonography in 2020. He is a full-time faculty member at the Department of Physiotherapy & Rehabilitation at Jashore University of Science & Technology. He published 47 research papers in indexed journals and completed 6 funded projects from home and abroad, including the University of Brighton, UK. He was awarded for COVID-19 research from the NHS, UK, and the Short-Course Australia Awards Fellowship Program. He presented six conference papers and was awarded the best oral presentation at ASCoN 2021 and the gold medal award at ISSICoN. He has served the Bangladesh Physiotherapy Association (BPA), a member organization of World Physiotherapy, since 2006 and obtained life membership in 2026. He served as a review committee member for the WHO Long COVID guideline and worked in three international special interest groups. Dr. Amran has 12 years of professional experience treating more than 6000 patients at Sir William Beveridge Foundation and Centre for the Rehabilitation of the Paralysed (CRP). He is the founder volunteer of ‘Amran’s School of Thoughts’, promoting research and skill development for the healthcare providers, and runs a social media page on evidence-based physiotherapy & rehabilitation with 25000+ followers.
