    Biography

    Atish Kumar Dipongkor is a faculty member of the Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE), Jashore University of Science and Technology (JUST), Bangladesh. Before joining at JUST, he has worked as a software engineer for six years in the reputed software industry, BrainStation 23 Ltd., Bangladesh. He enjoys his current very much due to having real-life experiences.

    Atish Kumar Dipongkor has earned his Master of Science in Software Engineering (MSSE) from the Institute of Information Technology (IIT), University of Dhaka, Bangladesh. His core areas of interest are Code Smell, Refactoring, System Architecture Design, Web Technologies, and Bangla Text Processing.

    Apart from teaching, Atish Kumar Dipongkor regularly write blogs for his students (https://akdipongkor.com). In his software engineering days, he participated in several workshop as speaker. He was awarded Microsoft Most Valuable Professional (MVP) two times for his community contributions.

    4. Runner’s up in Firefox App Challenge 2014
