Md. Borhanul Asfia was born in the village of East Bheramara in Bheramara Upazila of Kushtia District in 1994. He completed his Graduation and Post Graduation in Physics from University of Dhaka in 2016 & 2017 (results published in 2017 & 2019) respectively. His M.S. thesis dissertation was related to Chalcogenide Thin Film Solar Cells. He achieved National Science and Technology (NST) fellowship under the ministry of Science and Technology, Bangladesh for researching in the field of Thin Film Physics. He also achieved S N Bose Center for Advanced Study and Research in Natural Sciences fellowship in 2019. He started his career as a lecturer of Dept. of Physics under the faculty of Natural Science in American International University-Bangladesh (AIUB) in 15th May, 2019. Then he joined Jashore University of Science and Technology (JUST) as a lecturer of Physics under the faculty of Science in 14th December, 2019.
