Assistant Professor of English at Jashore University of Science and Technology, I have been teaching English Literature and Language for about 15 years now and got my 4 years integrated Bachelors with (hons) in English and MA in English and American Literature from the University of Dhaka and studied creative writing in the University of Bamberg, Germany. I also obtained an International Diploma in TESOL. I have been engaged passionately in writing fiction, poetry and short plays.My areas of research interest include contemporary South Asian writings in English, Diaspora, Media and Cultural studies, Literary Theory, Modern Literature, Tagore and Translation, Shakespeare, TESOL and Hemingway Fiction.
