Abdullah Al Roman was born in Bogra district of Bangladesh. He completed his schooling from RB Government High School, Joypurhat. He finished his HSC from Joypurhat Government College and then went to Jahangirnagar University (JU) achieving his bachelor and master degrees in Physics. He worked with Prof. Dr. Farid Ahmed in the area of renewable energy for his master at JU. He was awarded an NST fellowship by the Ministry of Science and Technology of Bangladesh.
