Dr. Md. Rabiul Islam Sazib is a distinguished Bangladeshi veterinarian, academic, and microbiological researcher. He currently serves as a Lecturer in the Department of Microbiology and Hygiene within the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine at Jashore University of Science and Technology (JUST). Registered with the Bangladesh Veterinary Council (BVC Reg. Early Life and Academic Background

Born on May 13, 1995, in Boro-Mirzapur, Mithapukur, Rangpur, Dr. Sazib demonstrated academic distinction early in his education, achieving perfect GPAs in both his SSC (2011) and HSC (2013) examinations. He pursued higher education at the University of Rajshahi, earning his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree in 2019 with a CGPA of 3.90 out of 4.00. He subsequently completed a Master of Science (MS) in Microbiology in 2021 at the same institution, graduating with an outstanding CGPA of 3.98 out of 4.00.

Before transitioning into full-time academia, Dr. Sazib acquired comprehensive field and industry experience across the animal health sector:

• Technical Services Executive at Aman Feed Limited, where he managed livestock nutritional diagnostics, biosecurity protocols, and farm-level disease outbreak investigations.
• Product Executive in the Animal Health Division at Ethical Drugs Ltd., overseeing veterinary pharmaceutical strategy, drug efficacy assessments, and technical literature development.
• Livestock Officer for the Society Development Committee (SDC), leading rural livestock health intervention programs, clinical evaluations, and farmer community development.

Dr. Sazib’s research expertise spans veterinary microbiology, molecular diagnostic techniques, antibiotic resistance profiling, and infectious disease epidemiology.
