Ibrahim Hossain is currently working as Lecturer in the Department of Pharmacy, Jashore University of Science & Technology (JUST).

He has worked persistently and with great passion in the Department of Pharmacy since December, 2025. He has obtained his M. Pharm. and B. Pharm. degrees from the Department of Pharmacy, University of Rajshahi, Bangladesh. He completed his M. Pharm. specialization in Pharmacology & Phytochemistry and carried out thesis entitled “Investigation of Cardioprotective effects of Syzygium cumini leaves extract on isoproterenol induced Left Vetricular Hypertrophy in Rats”. Since his undergraduate studies, he had developed an interest in research. He has expanded his research into phytochemistry, pharmacology and cardiology.
