Sanjida Afrin has joined as a Lecturer in the department of Accounting and Information Systems, JUST on 5^th November, 2022. She completed her BBA and MBA from the department of Accounting and Information Systems, University of Dhaka with outstanding results and good academic achievements. She got CGPA 3.87 in BBA and CGPA 3.98 in MBA (secured 1^st Position). She has been awarded “Al-Maruf Khan Gold Medal for Academic Excellence – 2019” for obtaining highest result in MBA Exam from University of Dhaka. She has also been awarded for Dean’s Merit Award and Dean’s Honor Award – BBA 2018 and nominated for Dean’s Merit Award and Dean’s Honor Award – MBA 2019. She worked as Standard Setting Officer in Financial Reporting Council (FRC), Bangladesh. She has expertise in IFRS Standards, Auditing Standards, Valuation Standards, Preparation of Financial Reporting Formats, Issuance of Financial Reporting Polices, Standards, Guidelines and Bookkeeping methods for Public Interest Entities (PIEs). She has published a research article entitled “The Effect of Non-Performing Loans on Performance and Profitability: A Comparative Analysis from Banking Sector of Bangladesh” in 2020.
