Fariha Farzana is a Lecturer in the Department of Environmental Science and Technology, Jashore University of Science and Technology. She was engaged with research as a Research Assistant under a government project funded by Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change. The Title of the project is 'Assessment of Impacts of Climate Change on Soil Health and Food Security, and Adaptation of Climate-smart Agriculture in Most Adversely Affected Areas Of Bangladesh'. Her research fields are climate change, biomass carbon, organic amendment, soil nutrient analysis etc. She had obtained MS and BS degree from the Department of Soil, Water and Environment, University of Dhaka. She received Dean's Award from the Faculty of Biological Science, University of Dhaka for her excellent academic result. She was awarded with National Science and Technology fellowship by the Ministry of Science and Technology, Government of the Peoples' Republic of Bangladesh. She was also awarded with Merit Scholarship by Directorate of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education, Government of the Peoples' Republic of Bangladeh. She is a polite, energetic and humble person.
