Dr. Md. Aminul Islam received his PhD in Chemical Engineering from Universiti Malaysia Sabah (UMS), Malaysia and then moved to a postdoctoral position at the Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM), Malaysia. He worked as a senior lecturer at the Universiti Malaysia Sabah (UMS), Malaysia. He is now working as an Associate Professor at the Jashore University of Science and Technology, Jashore, Bangladesh. His research interested is directed at understanding and exploiting photocatalyst for sustainable fuel, CO₂ capturing and H₂ production through photocatalytic water splitting
