Faculty of Veterinary Medicine:

The Faculty of Veterinary Medicine is situated 9 (Nine) Kilometers west of Jhenaidah town on the north side of Jhenaidah-Chuadanga highway under Sadar Upazila of Jhenaidah district which was established as Jhenaidah Government Veterinary College under the supervision of Department of Livestock Services, the Ministry of Fisheries and Livestock on 08 October 2013. Later, on 11 January, 2023 Jessore University of Science and Technology started its journey as a Faculty of Veterinary Medicine. The institute started with the admission of 60 students in the session 2013-14. Currently there are about 300 students studying in this faculty and already 3 batches of degrees have been awarded who are making significant role in the country and abroad.
