The previous name of the Faculty of Health Sciences was Faculty of Physical Education Language and Ethical Studies which was established in 2011. The then Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Md. Abdus Sattar was the founding dean of this faculty. Currently the name of this faculty has been changed to Faculty of Health Science. Till now there are three departments under this faculty.
